Name Dropping

If you’ve been around church or Christians much, chances are you’ve heard God referred to as many different names like Creator, Healer, or Father. And maybe you’ve even heard some names in Hebrew, like Jehovah and Yahweh. All of these names speak to who God is in our lives and what his heart is for us. But when we lack the stories and context behind these names (and when we aren’t fluent in Hebrew!) we miss the richness these names encompass. In this series we’ll look closely at four names of God from the Bible and how each one uniquely illustrates the truth that God is for you.
