SUNDAY NOVEMBER 11
God Is Speaking... Are We Listening? – The Fall of Israel
Most of us would say we desire to hear God’s voice in our lives and pursue what He has for us, but that desire doesn’t always grow into reality. Life gets in the way. What if – in the midst of our crazy, messy, complicated lives – we truly listened for what God is saying? As we continue through The Story, we will follow God’s people in their own challenges (not unlike ours) to respond to a God who is speaking. This Sunday, we’ll take a look at the history of Israel's fall, and how God’s love is still present in times of hardship and trials.

-COMING UP-

Sunday Night Service
Every Sunday in November  |  6:00pm

Sunday mornings can feel busier than we'd like. Whether it's picking up an extra shift at work or cheering for your kids from the sidelines, going to church sometimes gets pushed to the back-burner.
That's why we’re trying something new. For the month of November, we’re opening our doors and inviting you to join our new evening service. It'll look, sound, and feel just like our morning services, and you'll get to spend some of your Sunday evening at CrossWinds Church. Invite a friend and join us at 6pm on November 4th for a chance to end your weekend right! We will have our Kid Ministry classes available, and STUFF & EPIC students are welcome to join us in the auditorium. For more information, please contact us here!

Child Dedications
Sunday, November 18th | 9am, 10:30am, & 12pm services
Child Dedication serves two primary purposes. One, for the parents and guardians of the child to commit to their church family to raise their child in a Christ centered home. And two, for their church family to commit to them to come along side in support of their commitment and to point them to Jesus. Child Dedications will occur on Sunday, November 18th at each of our morning services. If you'd like to dedicate your child, please register here! If you have any questions, please email Jenice Rollins.

The Story - Discussion Groups
Thursdays, November 8 - December 13  |  6:30 - 8:00pm
Discussion groups are designed for everyone who wants to dive deeper into The Story through our CrossWinds community! We will dive deeper into Sunday's message in two ways - through additional video content, and through discussion groups. These video-based discussions focus on themes connecting to our lives and draw on the content from the Sunday sermon. While the stories used are the same from Sunday, the emphasis might be a bit different. Registration childcare is required. For more information, please contact Carole Taylor.  Register here!

If you are interested in volunteering in any of these areas or helping with logistics and our guest services team, click here to register! You can also contact Brie Lorey with any questions!

Eden Garden: Happenings for November

The Eden Garden would like to thank everyone who came out this gardening season! With the 1,200+ hours of volunteer time, we where able to get so much accomplish. We were able to make significant progress with the garden re-alignment – fenced the new garden area, built 4 new raised beds, added irrigation, planted a new orchard and vineyard, improved the compost area, installed a pollinator garden, and adopted new food safety practices for harvesting. On top of that, we harvested 2,014lbs of organic produce that went to the Alameda Co. Food Bank and The Hayward Parish.
The Garden and its volunteers are taking a break until the spring but we will have pop work parties from time to time in the interim. Stay tuned! For more info, please contact us!
