LEVEL UP | 4th & 5th Grade Ministry
Sundays at 9am & 12pm
Level-Up helps 4th and 5th graders to take their next steps forward as disciples of Jesus. Our goal is to prepare them for life as a student after elementary school.
We do this by challenging them and raising the bar relationally and theologically. These young "tweens" are more than capable of blowing us away with their faith and trust in Jesus. As we see them draw closer to Christ and to each other in community prior to their jr. high days, it will serve to supercharge their faith and their friendships moving forward.
Our Level-Up program takes place every Sunday during our 9:00am and 12:00pm services.
Our Sunday CURRICULUM
Info about re:form and ECHO the Story can be found by clicking here.
Students encounter a historic concept from the Christian faith by watching a short video (5-7 minutes). The videos are funny, informative, and they get the ball rolling! Once the video is over we de-brief the video with some Q & A for a few minutes as a large group. The video usually helps to raise a lot of good questions and discussion.
Next we move to small group and we engage with the topic and explore it with a creative activity that gets students moving, drawing, cutting, pasting, tearing, sticking, writing, doing skits, etc. This is a fun way to learn!
Finally, kids will be opening their bibles and learning how to truly apply what they just learned into their daily lives. This respond piece will help students to get a good handle on the topic and the scripture, and it will give the kids space to ask more questions, to share their own insights, and to spend time in prayer.
Level Up Leaders
Small groups and small group leaders are a central component to the success of Level-Up, so if you or someone you know would like to lead a Level-Up group, please contact us! But most importantly, we’d love for you to support Level-Up by bringing your kids! They’re going to love it, and I can’t wait to see what God does in & through this ministry.
