New Step One Recovery & Support Groups
Every Fall, Winter & Spring!
Step One groups are biblically based, Christ centered, recovery & support small groups. They facilitate open, honest, and supportive interaction for men and women. These groups are structured to provide a safe and confidential place of healing and acceptance.
The groups are designed to improve the way you live, think and relate, and they provide important tips, tools and techniques to improve all of your relationships. These groups are peer lead support groups with leaders who are well trained, experienced, caring people to help you process through the challenges and struggles of life. Step One groups are not professional group therapy experiences.
Groups meet for 10 to 14 weeks at CrossWinds Church unless otherwise noted. For group start dates, times and fees see descriptions below.

Registration:
Step One groups are free. Books and materials can be purchased at your Step One group. You can register for any of the listed Recovery & Support Groups by selecting the Online Registration link. Registration is encouraged on-line or at the first meeting you attend. Detailed brochures are also available at the Community Life Counter.

Hope for Hurting Families & Friends
Tuesdays, 7-9pm, Room 104. Meets every 2nd & 4th Tuesday of each month.
This support group is for anyone with a loved one affected by mental-health issues.
No fee.

Fall Groups:
Beyond Anger
Tuesdays - August 17 - Oct 19 7-9pm Room 112
Anger is not bad, right or wrong; it is an emotion. Explore the myths of anger, the cycle of anger and the process of anger. This class will help you learn to develop safe and healthy ways to express anger and increase skills of communication, problem-solving and conflict resolution.

CrossWinds Church along with Valley Pregnancy Center in Dublin offers healing for women and men who have unresolved emotional woulds from previous abortion(s). This group will lead you through the healing process. People who have taken this class have found it life-changing, giving them new hope and joy. Women and men meet in separate groups. No fee.
