Beyond These Walls

At CrossWinds, we believe in being an active and positive force in our community locally. We are living in times where there is need everywhere you look, and we continually strive to be helping our community beyond the walls of our church building If you are interested in local or global missions & outreach, consider volunteering in one of these ministries.

We’ve just launched the Close Up Initiative, where we as a church are following God’s call to pour our time and effort into being CLOSE UP with people in our community. Visit our page here!

Day Of Hope - Neighborhood Edition
Saturday, November 17, 2018 | 9:00am - 3:00pm
Marilyn Ave. School, Livermore
We are going to take hope into the heart of the neighborhoods that need it this year and we are looking for volunteers to serve the families in various ways. We'll be providing holiday family portraits, free haircuts, coats for adults & kids, and bringing social services along to continue the path to hope beyond this day. If you are interested in volunteering in any of these areas or helping with logistics and our guest services team, click here to register! You can also contact Brie Lorey with any questions!

Eden Garden offers opportunities to provide fresh, organic, seasonal produce grown on our garden on our Freisman Rd. property to local area charitable organizations.  To lend a hand in the garden, assist with deliveries, donate tools, equipment or expertise please contact Barbara Stott.

Kairos Torch Kairos is a Christian ministry in which both male and female volunteers bring Christ's love and forgiveness to prisoners and their families. The Kairos "Torch" program is a unique opportunity for individuals to actually minister inside the prisons to youth who are incarcerated. The TORCH experience begins with a Weekend retreat in the youth detention center or correctional facility for youth 25 and under. The mission is to engage their reasoning skills in seeking balance for their lives. A Kairos Torch Weekend creates a safe place for the youthful offender to realize their God-given potential through the mentoring of a mature, Christian volunteer. Torch is always looking for people who are interested in mentoring these youth and who are willing to pray for this ministry. If you are interested in helping with this ministry or event please contact Tom & Jo Chapman.
